DESCRIPTION : Easybit is a thixotropic bitumen emulsion. The coating is dark brown in color and dries to a black flexible protective film. The finished film forms a tough barrier to water and vapor transmission. Fields of application Easybit is used for providing waterproofing and dampproofing for below ground concrete structures which are above the water table. The coating is also used as a moisture vapor barrier on block works and concrete surfaces prior to cladding.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS : Application procedures may vary slightly depending upon site conditions. The general recommended guidelines for the application of the bitumen coating are as follows:

COVERAGE : Moisture vapor barrier coating: 4m2/L/coat will give D.F.T of 125 microns.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE : Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extreme temperatures. Shelf life is up to 12 months when stored as above. Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product.
